Maryland Handgun Qualification License (HQL)

Maryland Handgun Training -$160.00

4 hours of instructional course work. Which includes an overview of Maryland State firearms law, firearm safety, handguns mechanism and operation. Student will demonstrate their ability to safely fire a handgun at a firing gun range. Certificate provided to students upon completion. Classes held in our Bowie, Largo and Greenbelt locations

Concealed Carry and Wear (CCW)

Maryland Handgun Training - Concealed Carry and Wear Training- $300.00

16 hours of firearms instruction required (2 day) for original applicant. Instruction will include Maryland State firearm law, home firearm safety, handgun mechanisms and operation, and a component that requires the applicant to demonstrate firearm safety and proficiency with a minimum score of 70% accuracy. Specializing in Maryland Handgun Qualification License (HQL) and Concealed Carry and Wear (CCW) Permits. We offer the best handgun training possible by highly skilled Firearms Instructors. CFT instructors are prior law enforcement members and are Maryland Certified Firearms Instructor and National Rifle Association Certified (NRA). Serving the Metro region, Bowie, Greenbelt and Upper Marlboro.

Who We Are

At Capital Firearms Training we provide training for Maryland Handgun Qualification License (HQL), Concealed Carry and Wear Permit. Both training courses are taught by Maryland Certified Firearms Instructors. Our training is skill-based with an emphasis on firearm safety. Individuals of any skill level, seeking to legally purchase a regulated firearm in the state of Maryland are welcome to join our classes. We offer individualizes training or in a group setting. Safety is paramount to everything we teach at Capital Firearms Training. Our instructors are highly skilled in marksmanship and in home safety.
